La Pasiva

La Pasiva Review

For an ice-cold beer, this popular chopperia (beer house) is a late-night favorite. The specialties are frankfurters (10 pesos), chivitos, and other bar food. In good weather you can socialize at the outdoor tables in Plaza Matriz, which does close at 7 on weeknights. This Montevideo staple has franchises throughout the city, including a prominent location on Plaza Fabini.
