Casa Andina Private Collection Review
Out of the two Casa Andina properties in Puno (the other is a less expensive Casa Andina Classic property), this lakeside hotel is the best. Just outside of town, the two-floor building has large stone and slate walls, and a fireplace in the lobby. Clean rooms and baths share a similar style and are basic, full of natural light, and have all modern amenities, even cribs for babies if needed. A restaurant serves up good Novo Andino food and the bar is probably too well-stocked. The only real downside: even with space heaters, it tends to get cold.
