Owned by an Aymara shaman and healer, the design of this building, a stone's throw from the Templo de Fertilidad, is as unusual as you will find in Peru. Pumas, condors, and other sacred altiplano wildife are incorporated into the whimsical, Disney-esque design of the building's rocky facade. Rooms tend to be less adventurous, with a sort of worn, basic style. This hotel is especially useful if you want to prolong the journey along the lake before heading into Bolivia. They also have a second more modern hotel, closer to the lake, that is far less interesting.
