In a beautiful tiled courtyard surrounded by fragrant blossoms and dotted with trees, this 18th-century home is believed to have been a one-time temporary residence of Mariano Melgar, Peru's most romantic 19th-century poet. This bright blue-and-adobe-color Spanish colonial has double rooms that have towering, vaulted brick ceilings, as well as private baths with hot water. The suite has an original cookstove from its early days. The small on-site Flor de Café, serves breakfast.
