When To Go

The weather along the north coast is always pleasant, although it's sunnier from November to May. The northern highlands weather is more capricious—rainy season is November to early May, while it's drier from mid-May to mid-September. September and October have fairly good weather, but occasional storms frighten off most mountaineers.
