Lambayeque

This small town has some well-preserved colonial-era buildings but the reason to come is for the outstanding museums. The museums exhibit details about the Moche civilization, and the original artifacts from the tomb in Sicán.

Getting Around

The town is small enough to walk around from place to place or you can take an inexpensive taxi (S/3 within town) to the different museums. To get here from Chiclayo, you can easily hire a taxi or rent a car.
