This well-equipped, contemporary hotel is in the heart of Iquitos, on the Plaza de Armas, and rooms in front put your fingers on the city's mototaxi pulse. The airy lobby has a six-story ceiling and a glass elevator. Behind it is an outdoor pool with an elevated Jacuzzi, and a small spa with a few exercise machines. Carpeted guest rooms have giant windows, flat-screen TVs, and other modern conveniences. Those in front overlook the plaza, but suffer from a bit of its noise,
whereas quiter rooms in back glimpse the river over rusty metal roofs. There is a small restaurant off the lobby where complimentary buffet breakfasts are served and a large pool bar that also serves food. The hotel offers tours to local attractions.
