For less than the cost of many shoebox-size hotel rooms you can get a generously sized one- or two-bedroom suite. Each suite at this five-story hotel has a compact kitchenette, making it perfect for anyone staying for more than a few days. The decor is clean and simple, with carefully chosen modern furnishings. The location—an easy walk from dozens of shops and restaurants—is hard to beat. Pros: Near dozens of restaurants, extremely friendly staff. Cons: Lacks a Peruvian feel, on a busy street.

We were there when it was cold, so didn't use the gym or pool. The kitchenette was small and simple, not for real cooking, w/table & chairs for 2; I recommend nearby supermarket, which carries gourmet stuff, deli, etc. Housecleaning service was prompt and thorough. Breakfast was better than the usual buffet spread. Hotel staff courteous. Pleasant area.
