Rising over the northeastern edge of the city is this massive hill, recognizable from the cross at its peak—a replica of the one once placed there by Pizarro. If the air is clear—a rarity in Lima—you can see most of the city below. The easiest way to get here is via one of the buses that circle the Plaza de Armas. An hour-long tour costs S/5.
