Puente de Piedra

  • Address: Northern end of Jr. de la Union, Lima

Fodor's Review:

Across the nearly dry Río Rímac is this 17th-century stone bridge, whose builders strengthened their mortar with thousands of egg whites. From the bridge is a nice view of the Palacio de Gobierno and other grand structures along the river's edge. You can walk on the bridge, but it's better to take a taxi into Rímac.
