Tucked into the courtyard of a beautiful colonial-era building, this is one of the prettiest restaurants in the historic district. Tables covered with peach-color linens are set beneath flower-covered colonnades. The food, creative takes on old recipes, is just as appealing. Start with a spinach salad tossed with bacon, walnuts, and slices of apples, then move on to pescado en salsa langotinos (fish in lobster sauce) or espaguetí fruotos del mar (pasta with seafood). The staff is eager to please, sometimes even running from the kitchen to deliver a dish while it's still hot.
