When you want to relax, this high-rise hotel knows how to accommodate you. The staff greets you in whispered voices as you stroll through the lobby. Although the hotel is in the heart of San Isidro's business district, the rooms are surprisingly quiet. No bland furnishings—bright fabrics and original artwork make you doubt that this is a chain hotel. The restaurant, the Ostrich House, specializes in dishes made from that odd bird. Pros: Nice views of the city, elegant feel, good value. Cons: A long walk to dining options, too formal for families with kids.
