Fodor's Review

The romantically named Bridge of Sighs is a wooden walkway over the tree-shaded Bajada de los Baños. Though the bridge itself is nothing special, the view of the surrounding historic buildings is priceless. It is also the most direct route between the Parque Municipal and La Ermita, a little yellow chapel dating from 1882.

PUENTE FOR THREE

My husband is peruvian and we live in San Diego, California. My husband at times feels homesick and we like to play the song "puente de los suspiros" while my husband chokes up in tears.. I finally was able to visit barranco this year with our 6 month old baby in tow! Very meaningful for us.

Cool spot

The bridge area is one of the best spots in Barranco. I really love how you have to walk on a narrow, little cobble-stone road to get to the top of the cliff, for a great oceanview. It's a great spot, but swamped with couples making out at night. The restaurant has great anticuchos!
