Museo de la Inquisición

Fodor's Review:

Visit the original dungeons and torture chambers of the Spanish Inquisition, where stomach-churning, life-size exhibits illustrate methods of extracting "information" from prisoners. This massive mansion later served as the temporary home of Congress, which found a permanent home in the neoclassical structure across the street. The guided tour, offered several times a day in English, lets you explore the beautiful building, especially the coffered ceilings dating from the 18th century.
