Fodor's Review

Of the dozens of chifas in Chinatown, none matches Wa Lok. The extensive menu includes such memorable dishes as langostinos picantes al horno (spicy broiled shrimp), kum pou kay tien (chicken stir-fried with asparagus and yellow peppers), and pato pekines (Peking duck). Vegetarians can choose from more than 30 dishes. The servings are large, so its best to go with a group and share a few dishes, or ask for half orders. They also have a selection of set menus with six dishes each that feed four to six people. The surrounding neighborhood is sketchy at night, so you are better off going to their Miraflores branch, on the corner of Av. Angamos Oeste and Arica.
