6 Best Nightlife in Cusco and the Sacred Valley, Peru

Limo

Plaza de Armas

For upscale drinks, check out the bar at Limo. While also functioning as a high-end restaurant, the bar here mixes some of the tastiest pisco drinks—in any variation or flavor—around. Not cheap, but if you like pisco sours, don't miss it.

Museo del Pisco

If you only have time for one bar while you're in Cusco, make it this atmospheric spot. Not only does it serve great pisco drinks (you can even get a pisco tasting on the fly), but it also offers tapas if you want to nosh as you drink. There's often live music as well.

Mythology

Always full, with a mixed crowd of generally young Peruvians and foreigners, the club offers free salsa lessons from about 9 to 11 nightly. After that, you can literally dance the night away to a mix of music from the '80s to today.

Norton Rat's Tavern

Plaza de Armas

The second-floor tavern has a great outdoor balcony overlooking the Plaza de Armas, perfect for enjoying a beer (especially if you want an import) and watching the people go by.

Paddy's Irish Pub

Plaza de Armas

The dark-wood, second-floor Paddy's serves pints of Guinness and old-fashioned Irish pub grub such as Philly cheesesteaks, pita sandwiches, and chicken baguettes.

Ukukus

Dance the night away at Ukukus, a hugely popular pub and disco that hops with a young crowd, often until 5 am. This is one of the best (and only) places in town to hear live music from local talent, often featuring traditional Peruvian tunes with a modern twist.
