Taking its lead from the Spaniards, Casa Andina is slowly colonizing Cusco all over again with five branches now existing in various locales throughout the city. Part of a national chain, all of the Casa Andina hotels exude professionalism and are great value for money. Fortunately for them, this is where the resemblance ends, as each hotel differs in style. The San Blas branch, in a colonial house perched up on the hillside offers great views over the city's terra-cotta rooftops. The modern and comfortable rooms are tastefully furnished with Andean touches. Pros: Good value for top-end lodgings, excellent location with spectacular views over Cusco, professional atmosphere and pleasant service. Cons: Can be a hard walk uphill to get here, some rooms have sub-par views over the neighboring houses.
