Fodor's Review

Historic architecture enthusiasts may forgive the shabby carpets and days-gone-by appearance once they lay eyes on the spectacularly carved wooden doors, intricately paved courtyard, and Catedral views of this restored 16th-century building near the Plaza. Rooms congregate around an arcaded courtyard with grand old staircases and are furnished in full colonial style with tapestry bed covers and period details. Shell out a few extra soles to get a two-level suite, with

balconies from which you can see the Catedral, colonial paintings on the walls, and wonderful carved wood throughout.
