Everyone seems to know everyone and greet each other with a peck on the cheek at this second-floor eatery, part lively tapas bar, part sit-down, candle-lit restaurant. The bar wraps around the kitchen area where you can watch a small army of cooks prepare your food. You'll strain to see as they set out each new platter of tapas -- perhaps some bruschetta or prawns and sweet potato in wasabi sauce -- and be tempted to say, "I want one of those." The restaurant half of Cicciolina is much more subdued, and a complete selection of homemade pastas with Mediterranean sauces on the menu. You can order off the restaurant menu in the tapas bar, but not the other way around.

We just loved, loved, loved this restaurant. We ate in the bar at small table overlooking the street. It was unhurried, the service was great and the food terrific. We had the trout sushi and the squid ink pasta. Both rivaled anything we've had in NYC.

This restaurant is very good. The menu is innovative and the cooks don't disappoint you. It's just delicious. They have meat, fish, poultry and pasta dishes, all of them very tempting.

Granted, this is an Italian restaurant in Cusco. But once you can't stomach anymore cuy (guinea pig) head to Cicciolina. I wish I could go here every night in the states! Great place to grab a delicious sandwich on freshly baked bread and watch them make fresh pasta for the night's dinners. For dinner, the french onion soup and filet mignon off the menu are to die for. The scallops and pasta dishes also received rave reviews from our party. This place is not to be missed!!

Words cannot describe how great this restaurant is. The service is wonderful and the food is outstanding. You can either sit at the restaurant or eat at the bar and order tapas. Either way, you will love it.
