Fodor's Review:
The Savoy sits several blocks from the Plaza de Armas, but its repeat clientele likes it for exactly that reason: it's removed from the commotion. The mirrored colonial-style lobby introduces you to this hotel's conservative, yet friendly, style. Dark carved wood is everywhere: the front desk, the mailboxes, the elevators, the room doors, and the dressers and headboards inside the carpeted rooms. The rooftop Sky Room restaurant provides a panoramic view of the city.
