$, Machu Picchu
Fodor's Review:
Bill has hosted Machu Picchu travelers for almost a quarter century, and his was one of the first lodgings in town. Rooms are bright and airy in this rambling house with stone walls chock full of plants just off the Plaza de Armas. The corner rooms with balconies and windows get the best ventilation and have the greatest views. The small restaurant downstairs will even prepare a box lunch for your day's excursion.
