Paraguay sees so few travelers that the friendly staff at Secretaria Nacional de Turismo (Senatur) seem grateful to see you. Stop in the main office near the Plaza de los Héroes daily 7-7 for pamphlets and maps -- only a few are in English -- or advice on hotels or restaurants. There's a branch office in the airport arrivals hall beyond the customs exit that is open daily for arriving flights. Lions Tour also has a desk at the airport with transportation, hotel, and tour information.
