Asunción has few telephone booths, per se. To make domestic or international calls, you can go to the downtown office of COPACO, the privatized national telephone company, which is open 6 AM-midnight. Numerous private telephone offices let you make calls, too. Look for teléfonos públicos or cabinas telefónicas signs.
