Getting Here & Around

San Antonio de Ibarra is an easy half-day trip if you are based in Cotacahi or Otavalo. From Quito's Terminal Terrestre, buses depart every 30 minutes for San Antonio de Ibarra (2½ hours). The round-trip fare should be less than $5. Flota Imbabura has direct service to Ibarra. From Otavalo, buses depart every 15 minutes throuout the day. Once here, head to the Ibarra branch of iTur, which is open weekdays 8:30-1 and 2-5.
