Hotel Patio Andaluz Review

It's a less costly alternative to the Hotel Plaza Grande down the street, but a stay here also lets you lodge in the Old City. Rooms in this four-centuries-old mansion are organized around two interior courtyards. All have wood floors, large desks, and flat-screen TVs. Each suite is split-level, with a bedroom and sitting room. We haven't quite got over the unusual layout in some of these, whose bedroom is on the lower entry level and bath on the upper level.

    Hotel Patio Andaluz Review

The hotel has old world charm galore, along with a friendly and helpful staff. The food in the dining room was just passable but ok for something simple after a long day out. We were given tickets for a concert which was world class--the manager couldn't make it and we were checking our laptops in the lobby (connections are best near the front).

Very comfortable experience--and we were upgraded to a wonderful room nearer the front, after protesting one too small and dark. Less expensive than many--check for specials.
