Un sacco di tucani!
The oldest lodging on Bocagrande, this elegant hotel resembles a huge sand castle. Bedrooms in the refurbished older building have more charm than those in the modern wings, though they can be noisy on weekends. Behind the hotel, giant ficus trees shade a large pool. A narrow lane separates the hotel from the beach.

Hotel Caribe was the first hotel in Cartagena and holds a important place in the history of the city and recent renovations make it an extremely comfortable place to stay. It has three different towers, two modern and one colonial, so depending on what kind of experience you are looking for, make sure to ask where your room is located.
