Casa de Nariño
Casa de Nariño Review
The Presidential Palace had to be rebuilt in 1949 following its destruction during "El Bogotazo," an uprising sparked by the assassination of Liberal leader Jorge Eliécer Gaitán. Although it's not open to the public, the guard outside is changed ceremoniously each Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 5 pm.
