The friendly American owners of this hostería, Glen and Beverly Aldrich, provide attentive service as well as special little touches like homemade ice cream. Rooms in the half-century-old main house are a mix of large and small, with carpets and/or hardwood floors, all tastefully decorated with wood furnishings. Two bright, airy hillside cottages are carpeted and wood paneled and have private patios. There's a hot tub heated by a wood-burning stove, and a serene vivero
(greenhouse) and garden that attracts birds. The terrace has stupendous views of Lago Villarrica.
