Curacautin

The ancient homeland of the proud indigenous Pehuenche people, Curacautín province is one of the most spectacular places in southern Chile for adventuring into wild nature, with the ever-present Llaima and Lonquimay volcanoes towering over the landscape. Here you will find several reserves and parks, hot springs, and increasing tourism activities, which are beginning to rival the more well-known area to the south around Villarrica and Pucón.
