The Central Valley Restaurants

Fodor's Review

On the wine road, this old bakery has been converted into a beautiful restaurant turning local products into sophisticated fare, such as curried duck, eggplant casserole with polenta, and steak drizzled in red wine reduction. Traditional displays and rustic-chic design nod to the old bakery that once supplied the daily bread for the Cunaco Hacienda. A charming delicatessen on the same site sells locals products like cheeses, jams, and wine. You can even find vintages from the '80s and '90s, although quality is not assured.
