Before supermercados became popular, locals did all their grocery shopping in markets such as this one topped by an enormous octagonal glass roof. On the ground floor you'll find produce piled high on tables and tumbling out of baskets, and upstairs is whatever types of fish the boats brought in that morning. A dozen different eateries serve the catch of the day. Watch your wallet, as this place can get crowded.
