San Alfonso del Mar Review

If you want to swim in the sea but are not keen of braving the polar temperatures of Chilean waters, try this set of imposing apartment buildings on Algarrobo's northern edge. The eight hectare, one thousand meter, turquoise blue seawater pool that stretches the length of the complex is officially the world's largest (it's in the Guiness Book of Records although may soon lose that crown to another the owners are building in the Middle East). The pool attracts swimmers, kayakers, and even yachters. The spacious suites, all with terraces overlooking the ocean, sleep up to 10, and guests also have access to their own spa, supermarket, ice cream parlor, and even an aquarium, so there is plenty to keep young and old occupied without having to stray.
