Behind a staid-looking brick facade, there's an ultra-modern yet simple interior in this early 20th-century building on Cerro Carcel. The location is a bit out of the way, but this also results in a great view and easy parking. It has its own little café-bar, so there's no need to dive into the busier cerros if you'd rather have a quiet evening in. By day, visit the nearby Ex-Carcel Cultural Center in the renovated former prison, which also has an excellent art gallery.
