Golf fairways, pine trees, and ocean vistas surround a four-story white-stucco resort building. Spacious, colorful rooms are decorated with original art and have large terraces with views of Maitencillo Bay. The circular Mirador restaurant has great views and interesting menu selections, such as sea-bass with clams sautéed in pesto, and filete del bosque Marbella (steak stuffed with wild mushrooms and vegetable confit). The only drawback is the distance from the beach—you need a car if you also want to explore the coast.
