A stone's throw from the port are dozens of eateries specializing in whatever was caught that morning. You won't find any fresher fish than at this tiny storefront restaurant near Mercado Central. Through a window on the street you can watch the chefs prying oysters open and rolling razor clams into empanadas. The simple dining room has a half-dozen tables under chandeliers shaped like—you guessed it—ships' wheels.
