Plaza Victoria
Plaza Victoria Review
The heart of the lower part of the city is this green plaza with a lovely fountain bordered by four female statues representing the seasons. Two black lions at the edge of the park look across the street to the neo-Gothic cathedral and its unusual freestanding bell tower.
Directly to the north is Plaza Simon Bolívar, which delights children with swings, slides, and simple carnival rides.
