Internet, Mail & Shipping in Santiago

Internet, Mail & Shipping

In Santiago there are plenty of Internet cafés; you're likely to find several around your hotel. Most larger hotels provide business services, but these can be expensive. Web boxes dotted around the second floor of the Parque Arauco Mall (Avenida Kennedy 5413) in Las Condes allow you to access the Internet free of charge.

Correo Central -- Santiago's main post office -- is housed in the ornate Palacio de los Gobernadores, in Santiago Centro on the north side of the Plaza de Armas. It is open weekdays 8:30-7 and Saturday 8:30-3. There is a second downtown branch near the Palacio de la Moneda, as well as one in Providencia near the Manuel Montt Metro stop and one in Las Condes at El Golf stop.

For overnight delivery, DHL and Federal Express both have offices in Santiago Centro.
