There are over a dozen places to eat here. Try La Joya del Pacífico or one of the tiny restaurants with names like Marisol or Francisca around the inner edge of the market. Many are little more than a kitchen with a few tables, but these are where locals and the market workers eat. The tables may be rickety, but the fish couldn't be fresher and cheaper or the service friendlier. Credit cards are accepted at larger restaurants like Donde Augusto and La Joya del Pacífico,
but not by smaller establishments like Marisol and Francisca. The mercado and its restaurants close at 5 pm.
