Fodor's Review

Don't be put off by the shops selling car parts at the entrance to this intimate little neighborhood on the north side of La Alameda between avenues Brasil and Ricardo Cumming. Developed in the 1920s on land belonging to a mining branch of the Concha y Toro family—another branch founded the vineyard of the same name—its short winding streets spanning out from a central plaza with a fountain have an eclectic mixture of neoclassical, art deco, and Baroque houses, many

of them designed by the same architects who worked on the Barrio París-Londres. There is a restaurant, café, and occasional street fairs, which take place on weekends.
