Rumor has it that the French owners import even their flour from France at this authentic boulangerie. The plato del dia (dish of the day) is always a tasty concoction, but equally good bets are the mixed green salad with grilled goat's cheese and the succulent carpaccio of salmon. But the tarte tatin steals the show—large, thick chunks of perfectly baked apple atop a thin layer of pastry, served with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. The shady terrace is lovely, but the upstairs dining room is the place for a romantic meal. If you like the baguettes, a little shop lets you take them home.
