¢-$, Vegetarian, Las Condes
Fodor's Review:
If you're used to vegetarian restaurants that look like they forgot to decorate, then this elegant eatery with its green-and-white-checkered floor will be a nice surprise. The kitchen here has sidled away from run-of-the-mill vegetarian fare. It conjures up such dishes as fricasé de cochayuyo (seaweed stew) -- a distinctly slimy but good dish that's typically Chilean in that seaweed is widely eaten throughout the country. The scrumptious lasagna is made from homegrown eggplants.
