Bice has revolutionized Santiago's notion of elegant dining. The small, two-tiered dining room has soaring ceilings that lend a dramatic flair, and gleaming floors of alternating stripes of dark and light wood add a touch of contemporary glamour. The service is a breed apart -- white-jacketed waiters zip around, attending to your every need. The menu leans toward imaginatively prepared pastas, such as linguine with scallops, razor clams, shrimp, and mussels. Be sure to leave room for desserts such as the cioccolatíssimo, a hot, chocolate soufflé with melted chocolate inside, served with an exquisite dulce de leche ice cream.

I can't imagine someone not liking this restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, the atmosphere is excellent. I just had lunch there -- and I've been there maybe half a dozen of times. It's a great place.
