This 50-year-old fast-food chain is a Chilean institution and now has a score of restaurants around the city. This is the place to try an Italiano (a hot dog with tomatoes and avocado) or another Chilean favorite, chacarero (hot dog or beef sandwich with green beans, tomato, and chili pepper). Jugo de melon tuna (honeydew juice) is a traditional favorite as well. The restaurants have no-frills decoration but are impeccably clean, and the service is
fast and friendly. The chain also does delivery, though credit cards aren't accepted for delivery orders.
