Hostería Vicuña Review
This large hotel's claim to fame is that poet Gabriela Mistral once slept here. It also has an inviting parlor and bar area complete with piano, and a tree-shaded garden. Guest rooms are spacious, with traditional, dark-wood furniture. The restaurant is quite good and serves Elqui Valley specialties such as goat and rabbit as well as international fare. The ambience is a step above most eateries in El Norte Chico—there are even cloth napkins.
