Easter Island

Souvenir shops line Hanga Roa's two main streets, Avenida Atamu Tekena and Avenida Te Pito o Te Henua. The most popular souvenirs and gifts are reproduction stone moai in a variety of formats (keychain size to the length of your forearm), and shell necklaces. Go farther afield to the sculptor Bene Tuki’s workshop at Aukara Lodge or visit Amaya Vai’s painting studio two streets back from Atamu Tekena on Tu’u Koihu.
