You might think Piriti, a dance club close to the airport, is locals-only, but really, anyone is welcome. The soundtrack is a mix of recorded Latin and pop early on; later in the night (as late as 2 or 3 am), live bands play. There are two parts of the club: the outer, rustic part, and the inside, which resembles a disco that could be found anywhere in the world. In August 2014, the outer part of the club was damaged by fire, so check with locals to see if it's back up
and running during your visit.
