Altiplánico Rapa Nui Review

This hotel, which opened in February 2009, is part of a relatively new chain of boutique hotels in popular Chilean vacation spots. The minimalist design— beds are mattresses on a cement platform and some rooms have only outdoor showers—may not be to everyone's taste, and the room price is very expensive given the limited facilities. Transport to and from the airport is available.

    View and service

First, you have to forgott all the occidental standards: no A/C, no TV, no Wifi in the rooms, but you are not on Easter island to watch TV and navigate on the net...(WIFI is available in commun area).
For A/C, think to the planet earth and be imaginative : fan, open the windows of both rooms and bathrooms and T° is more than decent...
Breakfast are more than excellent, service is perfect.
The only complaints : price, but in the scale of easter island and the hotel could be difficult to find.
Highly recommanded for who don't expect a "chain" hotel type Sheraton or Hyatt. And I hope there will never arrive in Easter island.
