Hotel Ancud Review

One of the best hotels in Chiloé, Hotel Ancud sits atop a bluff overlooking the Fuerte de San Antonio. The rooms in the rustic main building have log-cabin walls. The wood-paneled lobby, with a huge fireplace inviting you to linger, opens into the town's loveliest restaurant, which feels spacious thanks to its vaulted ceilings and picture windows. Try the salmón del caicavilú (salmon stuffed with chicken, ham, cheese, and mushrooms).
