The lofty two-story building surrounded by flower gardens is the oldest enxaimel house in the region, built in 1913 by the Franzen family, which ran a woodworking shop on the property for many years. Now this is the place for a hearty café colonial when returning from the Caracol Falls. The specialty here is the apple strudel. Behind the house there's a small museum with woodworking tools and farming equipment from the early days of German immigration.
