Surrounded by cliffs draped in lush green vegetation, Baía do Sancho is one of the country's most breathtakingly beautiful beaches. Its crystal clear waters shift in tonality from sparkling blue to emerald green, while the coral reefs make it a prime spot for snorkeling. Be prepared to for a lengthy descent down a natural stairway to reach the shore, although those with mobility problems can access the beach by boat trip. In 2012, the local government introduced a R$130
tourist tax to cover the costs of maintenance and preservation of the park; however, you can avoid the fee by accessing the beach via Baía dos Porcos. Amenities: none. Best for: solitude; snorkeling; swimming.
